In Case This Wasn’t Clear, It’s All About the Mattress

    Daniel M. Gold

July 30, 2010: Shakespeare’s romantic comedy “Twelfth Night” juggles many elements: gender-bending, mistaken identities, court intrigue, class struggles. The central stage furnishing is a framed mattress on wheels, the better to accommodate just about every couple in the play.
