That Odd Boy and the Pilot, Still Together in the Desert

    Jason Zinoman

October 6, 2011: “The Little Prince,” the 1943 novella by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, is not just one of the most beloved children’s stories of all time, it is also a parable celebrating the wisdom of the innocent. After all, it’s about a boy from another planet who teaches an aviator who has crashed in the desert what is important in life.
