Did He Like It?*
Synopsis
Tryst is a riveting romantic thriller set in Edwardian London. Part romance, part psychological thriller, Tryst tells the story of handsome con-man George Love, who preys on well-off women, wooing them, marrying them, and leaving them penniless and husband-less the day after the honeymoon... that is, until he meets his match in lonely milliner Adelaide Pinchin.
Tryst is an intense and tantalizing play intended for mature audiences.

"There are several plays battling it out in “Tryst,” at the Irish Repertory Theater. Trouble is, none have enough oomph to win the fight. Part melodrama, part thriller, part comedy and part romance, the script wanders through the genres, offering a story that’s frequently interesting yet ultimately unfocused. "
