SAINT JOAN NEW YORK TIMES REVIEW

Show
Did He Like It?*
Synopsis
Considered by many to be Shaw's greatest play and one of the greatest plays ever written, Saint Joan earned him the Nobel Prize in 1925. In this stripped down, boldly theatrical, four person production we witness the Joan of Arc that Shaw intended-- not a saint, a witch, or a madwoman-- but a farm girl who is anything but simple; an illiterate intellectual, a true genius whose focus on the individual rocked the Church and State to their core.

"What a rare and rich treat to see a group of performers stretch the classics as far as possible and not one inch further."
