Did He Like It?*
Synopsis
Little Black Dress -- a new play by Ronan Noone -- receives its New York premiere, presented by The Exchange - an Off-Broadway theatre company specializing in new work. Ari Edelson directs. The play is a funny, dark and poignant look at the sacrifices one makes when one leaves behind all that is familiar. It is set in a household in rural Blue River where Amy Beaudreaux lives with her boorish husband, their slacker pot-smoking son and his buddy, a gigolo.

"Empty beer bottles on every surface, a sullen post-adolescent in the corner and not an interpersonal boundary in sight: this is the pungent but predictable setting of “Little Black Dress,” a Midwestern Gothic by Ronan Noone, presented by the Exchange, that opened on Thursday at the Theater at St. Clement’s."
