Synopsis
A musical fever-dream delivered by a chorus of some of downtown's smartest new talent, Evelyn is an idiosyncratic genre mash-up and a haunting yet humorously parodic love letter to things past. Riffing on the classic stranger-comes-to-town-story, Evelyn uses Nellie Tinder's unique stylization of movement, music and text to explore the relationship of reality to artifice, even in the most dramatic of situations.
